In this advanced phase of the INFAB project, two custom WordPress plugins were developed and implemented to enable step-by-step configuration of radiation protection garments: one configurator for aprons and another for collars, which can be purchased independently.
Additionally, e-commerce functionality was activated on the site, allowing users to make direct purchases, including payment processing and product shipping.
The project focused on combining intuitive and detailed configurators that guide users through fully customizing their garments with the activation of a robust, secure ecommerce system within the website. A seamless purchasing flow was designed, where each customized product can be reviewed with detailed cost summaries before being added to the shopping cart. The necessary features for managing payments and shipping processes were implemented, all aligned with the brand identity and ensuring a smooth experience across mobile and desktop devices.
